Everything about the T5 is fast. The camera starts up in approximately one-tenth of a second, and the shutter is capable of freezing action down to 1/4000th of a second. Images are sharp and clear in an instant. In continuous shooting mode, the camera can snap up to three frames per second, so you don't miss a beat. In essence, the Rebel T5 is ready to go whenever you are.
It's an HD movie camera, too
You can freeze action in a still image, or you can let it flow. The Rebel T5 shoots full HD (1920 x 1080) video that's as sharp as anything a camcorder can produce. If you're snapping pics of friends, family or maybe a random celebrity encounter, you'll be thankful for face detection mode, which automatically sharpens focus on your subject's features. The camera's 3" full-color LCD viewscreen can help frame a shot or replay the footage you've already recorded.
